I enjoy doing gigs. I appear at poetry/literature events, rock concerts, in people’s homes – whereever there are people who will listen. I like to get my message out and to get direct feedback from audiences. And, at the more intimate venues, I am happy to answer questions on my style, content, the issues and the experiences that have inspired me.
Sometimes I write for a specific event. For example, I wrote two of the three poems featured below for BoxJam 2013. This trio of poems are about sovereignty and consciousness.
