Fame is a Mist

December 8, 2014 by adminjb2014

Fame is a Mist

Fame is a mist
A vapour of someone’s idea of you
The encouragement of a haunting
A poison for Love’s wellspring

Believing in your fame
Is the beginning of the end
A dying of humanity

Dropping Love for recognition
Is a glamorous life
And glamour is a begging bowl
Built for scraps
That cannot sustain a breath.

You Can’t Say It’s Not There

This is poetry from Have you ever met a Physical?

You Can’t Say It’s Not There

You can’t say its not there
When it’s all around
And more than permeates
All you have to do is
Look without prejudice

O, ‘tis very subtle
But once experienced
It cannot be denied
You can’t pretend that
It’s separate from you
And has only one son
Everything is its child and more
For like dewdrops in the ocean
You are it

Until you under-stand
The immeasurable joy
You’ll have to pretend
That you know who you are.
